You do not need any software to run a radio station, as most tasks can be performed from the control panel. However the functionality is limited as you will only be able to stream audio through the AutoDJ feature. It is recommended to use streaming software for a radio station to gain features such as microphone use, playing samples over audio and more.

The AutoDJ feature on our radio hosting plans gives you the ability to automatically stream your audio from a playlist without having to do anything! This is good if you want a completely automated experience, but this feature can also be turned on and off at will to restore manual access to your radio server.
